What does the 'Pending' status mean?

My payment is pending — what does that mean?

Simplified Bank Transfer

If your Easy Bank Transfer displays the "Pending" status, your bank is currently analysing the payment. In most cases, it is validated within a few minutes. Depending on your bank, however, this may take up to a few hours.

Why this delay?

Some banks apply additional security checks before validating a payment. Virement Maitrisé is not involved in this process: the processing time depends solely on your bank.

What if the payment is rejected?

In rare cases, your bank may reject the payment. You will be notified by email.

Standard Bank Transfer

If you have made a Standard Bank Transfer, your payment status will remain "Pending" until the funds are actually received, even if you have already initiated the transfer from your bank.

How long should you expect to wait?

For a standard SEPA transfer, allow 1 to 2 business days. For an instant SEPA transfer, the process takes only a few seconds.

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as the payment has been validated and the funds received.
